Light & Shadow are so close together. While the wine Chianti Colli Senese von Torre alle Tolfe was appraised in the ”FEINSCHMECKER und VINUM” magazine, and while we experienced difficulties in acquiring the wine packs, the olive harvest can hardly satisfy the owners private consumption.


The olive fly (Dacus oleae) fell in September-October on the olive groves, and put their eggs in the maturing olives which were spoiled due to the resulting maggots.


This happens in agriculture, specially when organic way´s are being used. The company has a loss of about € 40,000 for granted and we must take care to offer an alternative.
